Mars 06-10-2016 23:30 by jordent17 Mars 06-10-2016 23:30 by jordent17
Hello, everyone. My apologies for the absence. Between inclement weather here and other business, I've been unable to take new astropics. That said, here's a shot of Mars from a few months ago that I never uploaded, for some reason. You can clearly see Valles Marineris towards the  bottom of the disk, as well as various other regions on the surface. The northern cap is also very lacking in ice in this shot, in contrast with the southern one.

Considering it'll be another two-ish years before Mars grows to this size again, I'm more than pleased with these results. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to upload, as the semester has resumed, but I'll try to pop in now and again.

Nice colour to it. Is it my eyes, or has Mars lost some weight? Seems a little thin in the middle.
